11 days...

There are officially 11 days left till I depart from LAX to head to South Africa. I fly from LAX to JFK to Johannesburg to Cape Town. A long journey that will have me arrive in South Africa on the 6th of January. I will be living with a host family for the four months and my time is broken up into three sections. The 1st month will be traveling around Cape Town and surrounding area and learning about the History of South Africa. The next 2 months I will be taking the classes African Worldviews, Group Therapy, Study on the Peace and Reconciliation Commission, and Field Experience through a local ministry called LifeMatters. All of my classes are through Cornerstone Institute, which is located in Cape Town. The last month will be spent traveling around and exploring more of South Africa. I can't wait for the adventure that I am about to have and hope to keep you all up on as much as I am able. I am not the greatest writer and not the most disciplined person at keeping something like this up, but I hope to post around once a week. Thanks for following my adventure!!
